Work Trip to Paris in Sezané

My trip to Paris was a complete whirlwind but an absolute dream! This was my fourth trip to the city of lights and as amazing as the city is any time of year, I think I have to say it’s my favorite in the fall! This go around I was here for work attending showroom appointments and photographing, Juliet Angus for Paris Fashion Week and her Revolve Around The World collab. Most of our days consisted of shooting looks throughout the city, snapping shots for Revolve, Juliet’s Blog, and her Instagram. Because PFW was in full swing we also fit in a few private appointments for Les Petits Joueurs, Sandra Mansour, and Kukhareva. I had to head back to the states early for my surgery while Juliet embraced all things fashion week. — All in all it was a successful second Paris Fashion Week together and I’m so grateful for another memorable experience!
Although this was a work trip, the early bird in me woke up bright and early each morning to fit in a few hours exploring the city. Saint Germain is always my favorite to explore and nothing beats finding the best views of the Eiffel Tower and embracing Parisian cafe life. On my first morning I woke up bright and early to head to Café de Flore in Saint Germain. It’s a little cliché but always a classic and the perfect place for me to finish some computer work before back to back shoots and a busy work day!
(Traveller Tip* The wait can be quite long and the servers are in no hurry so I recommend coming before 10am on weekends and only eating here if you’re not in a big hurry. Alternatively walk down "Rue de Buci" where there are plenty of adorable more local feeling cafes, like Bar du Marché if you’re limited on time but still want to enjoy Saint Germain)
Once the work day got rolling we were lucky enough to shoot at the Plaza Athénéé. To say the views from the hotel are incredible would be an understatement — It literally has THE most picturesque view of the Eiffel tower, I kept feeling like I needed to pinch myself the entire time we were shooting there. If you have room in your budget, 100% stay here! It’s perfect for a honeymoon, proposal vacation, mother daughter trip, or romantic escape. Alternatively you can also come here to eat — you won’t get the balcony view, but the property is stunning which is worth it in itself!
The Les Petits Joueurs showroom was probably my favorite! Not only did they display their beautiful new handbag collection and their first line of shoes — but they took over "Cafe Chic" (another place to add to your Paris list) an recreated their own LPJ House Cafe equipped with millennial pink chairs, French fries, tuna tar tar, and calami — the way to my heart
When in Paris I had to turn to my favorite French brand, Sezane. I went a little ham during their fall launch investing in this classic silk blouse, versatile work skirt, and my new favorite fall staple — the giant circle bag. It paired so beautifully with this delicate fall-toned skirt, and I always get my money’s worth when I find staples from Sezane!
After this it was more Revolve outfit shoots, an impromptu stop in the Celine and Chanel Store, and lots of soaking in the beauty of Paris before a late night party celebrating Elyse Walker. MAJOR creds to Juliet for getting behind the lens and snapping several of these shots! She’s EXTREMELY generous and fun, all the more reason to also check out her blog and follow her
