Winter to Spring Silk Dresses

DRESS: Markus Lupfer (Similar) | BOOTS: Sandro | HANDBAG: Mansur Gabriel | HEADBAND: Zara (Similar) | EARRINGS: Cleobella | COAT: Zara
Considering it’s still FREEZING in April, this outfit’s still going strong on the work rotation. I’m always needing pieces that are versatile and work appropriate. My style continuously evolves the older I get and living in London requires having a wardrobe that’s adaptable. My lifestyle is very go-go-go. If I’m not working with digital clients or brands, I’m often attending brand events, spending the days in Pama’s design studio, or doing my own thing which I still make a point to get presentable for.
I save jeans for casual days, and 9 times out of 10 go for dresses! This Markus Lupfer has been a big fall/winter go to, with the silk silhouette great for work days, events, then nicer drinks post work. Many of his designs are on sale at the moment — I’ve linked lot’s below if you want to familiarize yourself with the brand, along with some other options to get a kickstart on spring even though it’s still cold!
Throwing it back to LFW —  padded headbands were and are still having a major moment. I wore a padded headband and pair of statement rings almost every single day. As simple as the combo is, it instantly elevates any look… and is a great hairstyle for second/third day hair too.
These boots were without a doubt my best fall/winter shoe purchase. I’ve talked about them a ton and worn them too many times to count. My #1 purchase overall this year has been this Mansur Gavriel tote. I’ve been needing a nice work tote for a while now. As functional as it was, my slouchy Cuyana Tote wasn’t cutting it for work events and I really wanted something that was a structured step up. I’ve searched High and Low (see my whole round up here) and this Mansur ended up being the winner. After a long wait, I truly couldn’t be happier with it. It’s the perfect work size – easily fitting my 13inch laptop and Sony camera and is feminine and functional, two things I needed!
I’m settled right back into London life (life update post coming soon & more on my new place!) I’m still loving it as much as ever, just ready for a little sunshine
