Less is More:

There are days when I’m getting dressed and I start to overthink things. I try to come up with outfits that are "more exciting," yet after 20 minutes of pulling items off hangers and throwing on the floor in frustration, I end up in an outfit similar to this one; a look I feel most comfortable in. A type of outfit that if I saw on a random woman on the street, I’d say to myself "I’m into that and yes! Less is more." This may not always be the case. But on the days that I have my doubts, it’s the formula that always works best.

On White T-Shirts:

When I get asked what my favorite white tees are, I will typically say Rag & Bone. They’re undeniably a splurge, especially as far as t-shirts go. But they’re one of the best fitting brands that I’ve found. For something less expensive, I also really like this one from Madewell and most recently, the one I’m wearing in these photos. It’s a bit looser and comes in a variety of colors. I ended up getting a bunch from Nordstrom including: white, the light grey and a black. I also love the rolled up sleeve detail, which makes it look more expensive than it actually is.
