White Poplin Blouses for Spring

White Poplin Blouses for Spring

Rebecca Taylor Top (On Sale 40% off!) | Rebecca Taylor La Vie Jeans | Roksanda Bag | Gucci Mules | GLDN Necklace
The flowers are finally starting to bloom in Hyde Park. The birds are out, the snow is (hopefully!) gone for good, and I couldn’t be more ready to defrost, stow away my winter layers, and lighten things up for spring! Back in Dallas when temps were a bit warmer, I got a head start at Bird Bakery in this effortless poplin blouse (now 40% off)! Besides cotton midi-dresses, there’s no staple I love more for spring than an effortless white, cotton top. They’re crisp, feminine, versatile, and comfortable— super transitional during these crisper days that come with spring!
Now that I’ve swapped LA’s sunshine for London’s chillier weather, I’ve accepted the fact that my spring style will definitely include an abundance of sleeves. These delicate, eyelet sleeves were a major selling point, along with the waist-cinching bow, and semi-off shoulder neckline —  great for showing off your favorite pieces of jewelry. If you’re new to the blog or have been reading since the beginning, you’ll quickly catch onto the fact that a white blouse + denim combo is one of my major re-occurring go-tos. It’s such a classic combo to have on hand. Great for those days when you’re rushing to get ready and need a fool proof look that doesn’t require excess effort.
As much as I love a classic denim/white top combo, come spring I’m all for adding subtle pops of blush. My pink Gucci mules are still my forever favorites, always easy to throw on with jeans and a white blouse, along with this top-handle Roksanda bag — a new addition, but instant runway favorite! With temps FINALLY looking like they’ll be warming up this weekend, I’m so ready to style this top over and over for lots of London days and springtime picnics in the park!
