Wardrobe Essential: Leather Knee High Boots

If there’s one thing I’ve learned after living in a big city, it’s to invest in comfortable footwear —- Yes, there are some days that I work from home, but 9 times out of 10 I’m rushing to the tube, hopping on the bus, and walking an average of 7+ miles a day going from thing to thing!
On the weekends, I wear my flat Stuart Weitzman suede over the knee boots every chance I get. But work days require a little more effort and some days you want to dress things up with a heel…. Insert my newest favorite investment: Leather Knee High Boots.
I have been on the hunt for a great pair of these for years. I found an affordable pair from Zara, but wasn’t obsessed with the color. Have had my eye on the pair from Sezane, but my size is always sold out…. With investment items, I like to scope out my options fully and take my time before I buy, but this was a bit of impulse purchase/ necessary buy once I found these Block Heel Boots Sandro, in my size.
Two-toned coloring wasn’t something I originally wanted, but after slipping these on I actually loved the contrasting leather & heel colors. It makes them even more wearable and the block heel couldn’t be more comfortable.
I’ve had these for two weeks and have already gotten my moneys worth. I’ve been wearing them pretty much every single work day — to the LiketoKnowit x WeWork Office, Dior’s Designer of Dreams Exhibition to Shoot Content for Juliet, to an influencer event with Oasis, strategy meetings in Shoreditch etc. etc….. Usually I slip them on with tights and a midi dress like I styled HERE, but to change things up for a fun London look, I went with a ruffled turtleneck, leather backpack, and jumper dress I brought back out from year’s back!
You can get these exact boots at Sandro Boutiques or Selfridges — and for anyone who’s picky like me and likes seeing alllll of your options before you buy, I’ve linked a lot of really great similar Knee High Leather boots that you’ll want to wear + similar options to get this same outfit.
