Let’s talk about summer travels, shall we?
I’m pretty bummed that summer is almost over, but I’ve had a heck of a time traveling this season. From starting out in Punta Cana in May, two trips to New York, some escapes to the Delaware beaches and numerous trips to my favorite city, Philly, I’ve been on the road quite a bit this year and loving every minute of it.
I noticed in the midst of my travels that I was long overdue for a luggage upgrade. Most of the time I take public transportation while traveling, so between planes, trains and buses, my suitcases were bound to get a little beat up this summer! Not to mention I have to roll these suitcases on a bunch of bumpy city sidewalks; sturdy luggage that can deal with a good amount of wear and tear was a must.
Enter: SWISSGEAR Luggage. Normally I associated SWISSGEAR with backpacks and never would have thought to look for luggage from them. Turns out that not only do they have a ton of luggage, but it’s surprisingly stylish and sturdy as well! I opted for their hardside luggage because lets be real: I’ve been pretty rough on luggage in the past and fill my suitcases to the brim with shoes, too many extra outfits, and my camera equipment. Whoops!
I picked up the red hardside luggage set because I avoid black luggage like the plague (I think it’s super hard to find in baggage claim, IMO!) but they do sell this set in a wide range of colors if you’re not feeling the red. I picked up the 28″ and 20″ pieces, so I’m covered for short weekend getaways to week-long excursions. Also, this is my first time owning spinner luggage and it is *lifechanging*. Honestly, how did I survive without a spinner suitcase?
If you need to upgrade your travel gear, SWISSGEAR is the way to go. You can browse their collections here; let me know which ones are your favorites!
