Transitional Style: Off-Shoulder Thermal Top + Distressed Jeans
Wishing a restful Labor Day holiday to all of my US based followers! I hope you all are enjoying a long weekend while coming to terms with the fact that it is now September and the holidays are just around the corner. Seriously, can someone tell me where this year has gone? While the afternoons have been sunny and pleasantly warm lately here in Seattle, there is a reality that mornings and evenings are getting cooler and it is about time for a seasonal closet transition. It is time to pack away my breezy summer tops in favor of cozy cashmere and merino wool sweaters, hoodies, and thermal tops like this off-shoulder waffle knit piece. When I saw this top, I knew it was a perfect transitional piece and had to have it. While I picked a versatile ivory color, this thermal top comes in 14 different colors (yes, you heard me right, 14) so there is a very good chance that there is a shade for everyone! I love the lightweight but warm fabric, and I am wearing a size small. This piece will be on heavy rotation this fall, but in today's outfit I kept things casual and long weekend-friendly by styling this top with distressed jeans, ankle strap heels, and my favorite neutral accessories. Please continue scrolling for more photos, outfit links, and more of my picks for off-shoulder tops that I think could look so good styled for the fall transition.
