Thinking Positive Thoughts

Good morning and happy Thursday, you guys! Sorry for skipping yesterday’s blog post… I’ve felt a little down the past couple of days. I expressed this on Instagram last night, but I think the gravity of the situation is really just starting to "hit" me. The thought of this situation lasting a lot longer, and all of the uncertainty surrounding it, has been weighing heavy on me. I am not trying to complain, I know there are so many people struggling worse than me, who are sick or still going into work every day because their job is essential, but I jut feel like there are a lot of us who are in the same boat and who feel the exact same way as me. So, if you’re feeling down right now: it’s normal, and you’re not alone. Someone gave me advice to just take it day by day. Concentrate on today’s plan, and what you can do today to be happy. Self-care is incredibly important. And if you need to scale back your daily To Do’s and give yourself more grace, please do.
This morning I am forcing myself to get up, get a workout class in, and then get ready. I have some healthy meals planned for today, and I have a relaxing "spa night" planned for tonight. Having little things to look forward to throughout the day makes it a little better.
