I have a confession to make: I’m a total denim snob.
I blame it on the fact that I worked at a South Moon Under in college, and as a part of my job, I had to get acquainted with the dozens of top tier denim brands that they sold in-store. After trying on the denim and selling it to folks all day, I slowly but surely threw out my cheap jeans and started a little designer denim collection of my own. I’m a firm believer of just investing in a few great pairs of jeans a year, rather than buying dozens of flimy pairs of denim.
I always, always suggest trying on denim since each brand runs a little differently, however, if you can’t get into a store to try on a pair of jeans, the next best thing is Fitcode. With Fitcode, you can take a short quiz to find out what your code is and find denim that would look amazing on you based on your body type. My Fitcode is 500, and the Nico Jeans were recommended to me. These fit like a dream, and it was an awesome experience to get the perfect fit without even having to try the jeans on in a store!
