TGIF my friends! Sorry about not posting yesterday, but my schedule has been complete chaos between shooting, blogging, teaching, and celebrating my birthday. This post is even coming out a little late in the morning than my usual schedule. Eeeek!!! Thankfully I just got my new Day Designer planner in for the new year to keep myself organized in blogging and photography (fun giveaway coming up next month ;) ).
Can we just talk about how ah-mazing this top is?!!!! I saw this top originally on Pucker Up Style, and text them immediately begging to know where I could find this embroidered beauty. Jill, one of the Pucker Up sisters, told me that she got it at Zara in AZ a few weeks prior to me asking. This top isn't a want, it's a NEED! Being the compulsive shopper I am immediately ran to fashion square mall in hopes of finding this top in my size. After scouring the store the top was no where to be found (insert cry emoji). The store front was a fail, but we always have the internet! After going onto the Zara site the top was sold out in every size. Noooooooo!!!!!!!!!! (insert 10 million cry emojis here).
The night of cyber Monday I was casually browsing through Chicwish to find items to feature in a collage, and there it was......
I found my unicorn!!!!
Well, not a unicorn, but the exact top I've been wanting....
I've seen this happen before were certain companies will carry the exact same item as another store, but label it as their own brand.
It was totally meant to be because A) the top was the exact same as the Zara one, B) I got it on a cyber monday sale, C) quality is ah-mazing, and D) the Chicwish one is $40 cheaper!!! I love love love this blouse, and can it be worn with jeans, skirts, dressed up, and dressed down. Hands down you need this in your wardrobe, and quick before it sells out!
Petite Review of Chicwish Floral Strings Embroidered Sheer Top: Since I am so small I can only do xs tops, and the majority of the time they still are not small enough. The blouse from Chicwish only comes in S, M, and L, and decided to take a gamble with the small. I was just so in love that if I needed to spend the money to alter it would be worth it. When I finally got the blouse in last week it fit me perfectly in the shoulders and chest. I am very narrow, and was surprised that it fit since petite sizes are the only blouses that fit my body. I definitely have to tuck in the shirt since there is so much blouse.
