At 5 foot 3, I tend to stay away from layering pieces over my outfit, such as this kimono, but I took a chance on the look and loved the outcome. This striped knit kimono called my name when I saw it online a few months back, and it’s been one of my favorite purchases to date.

Perhaps it’s the length of this striped knit kimono. Also, I feel like pairing it with the cropped girlfriend denim and the heeled booties – the proportions seem to be just right.
I’ve had these heeled booties for a year now, and picked them up on a whim while in Dallas. I just love the comfort factor. They have a thicker sole on the ball of heel, which is perfect for all weather types. I wore them in the snow and had no problems since the sole tread is a bit more aggressive.
You might recall these jeans from this post last winter. Every time I wear them, I get so many compliments on them. They’re flattering and I love the trendy stripe down the sides. They’re definitely my favorite trend as of late. What’s your favorite trend to wear lately?
