Have you thought about your Thanksgiving outfit yet? One of my favorite holidays is just over a week away and it’s definitely time to think about what you can wear to be both comfortable throughout the day as you eat, enjoy family & friends and watch some football!
I personally gravitate towards dresses for this holiday. Can you blame me though? When homemade mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, turkey and lest not we forget, dessert – PIE!!! – are all around me, plus my family, I’m going to cheat on the day. Who wants cumbersome pant closures to be weary of, am I right?! At least I’m admitting it, it’s okay if you’re judging me!
Last year I opted for a chambray dress + blanket scarf look, and this year I’ve similarly opted for a simple Thanksgiving outfit consisting of a shirt dress, but this time a California Tailor flannel version with an adorable shearling vest both available from my friends at Cakewalk Style Shop.
I’m a huge advocate for a simple Thanksgiving outfit because honestly, do you really want to change multiple times that day? I can simply roll up my sleeves when getting into the kitchen duties and throw on a cute vest as the temps drop into the afternoon and evening. Do you have any recommendations on what to wear for Thanksgiving?
