I noticed that I *still* have some photos from D.C. that I haven’t posted yet — and boy oh boy, I can’t believe I haven’t posted this shoot yet! As some of you guys know, an item on my D.C. Bucket List was to shoot at the Lincoln Memorial. I’m proud that I was able to knock it off, but man: this wasn’t an easy shoot to do at all!
If you are going to shoot at the Lincoln Memorial, honestly just do it as early as possible. Like 7 AM or so before the flocks of tourists come through. We managed to get these in at 1 PM which was quite the feat (Anna is really an MVP photog!) Despite all of the struggles, the shoot was completely worth it and it’s a nice little ode to my hometown!
Anyway, let’s chat about this dress: this is easily one of my favorite purchases this summer! You can easily dress it up or down depending on where you’re headed. I’ve rocked it with flats to happy hour and brunch, and paired it with heels for a bridal shower. This is my first Moon River piece I’ve purchased, and I’m pretty impressed with the quality! The price point is pretty reasonable as well, so I plan on scooping up a few more pieces from them soon.
