The Saturday we spent in NYC was a little dreary, but the snow didn’t come until later in the afternoon. Needless to say, we were dressed for what the weather might bring – meaning I was layered up in my warmest coat, fur stole and knee high boots.
Before hitting a few shows later that afternoon, we stumbled upon a really cool burger joint (it was such a whirlwind of a weekend, I can’t even begin to relay to you where it was…), but after lunch we snapped these photos which I dub quintessential New York. In the middle of the street with cabbies honking their horns we snapped some shots of this outfit.
I instantaneously fell in love with this Judith Leiber vintage belt, while perusing at Cheeky Vintage – a piece I know I can have for years to come and one day pass along to my own daughter. I wore my Stuart Weitzman Hijack boots almost every single day. Thanks to a little scotch guard and a chunkier heel they weathered the ice & snow while keeping my feet happy (I put pads in the soles when I first purchased them, and couldn’t recommend more!)
