My Work From Home Uniform

Vest, Sweater & Street Tights ℅ Athleta
Listen: one of the best parts about blogging full-time is the fact that I work from home. Back in D.C., when I was working my last full-time job, I had an hour commute to work. I’m so thankful that the only commute I have at the moment is from my bed to my living room! I will say that sometimes it is a little lonely to work alone in your own home (I went a little stir crazy when I first moved to Philly), but ultimately, it is 100% worth it.
No two days are the same when you blog full-time. There are some days when I have back to back meetings and events, and then there are some days when the only time I leave my apartment is to run a quick errand, like going to the post office or grocery store. My days vary so much, so I try to buy pieces that are casual enough to get me through a long day of errands, yet stylish enough for me to go to blog meetings and events in.
Enter: the Street Tight. These are cozy enough for a day of errands, but can easily be dressed up. I dressed my street tights down last week as I was traveling home from New York Fashion Week because your girl was pretty exhausted after a week of wearing heels and dressy outfits. I can’t tell you how cozy and comfortable this vest and sweater are! However, I can’t wait to style these street tights up with a blouse, leather jacket and loafers soon for my next long day of meetings!
For those of you who work from home: what pieces do you gravitate toward?
