My Favorite Pieces From MISA + A Few Neutral Beach Accessories

MISA DRESS (On Sale 25% off until 8/13!) | Carrie Forbes Sandals | Artemis Design Bag
I’m finally feeling all settled into my London flat! Just a few more touches and we’ll fully be feeling at home. One of my favorite aspects of living here is the UK’s proximity to the rest of Europe. In the same time one could travel to another state in the US, one can easily hop from country to country over here. Now that I have my bearings straight and am forever bit by the travel bug, I’m SO excited to begin some European travels and head off to Spain!
Back when I lived in Los Angeles, I spent ample time in Santa Monica, one day, in particular, wearing this pom pom MISA dress. West Coast or Mediterranean, there are so many places made for MISA’s beautiful collections. It’s always elevated, the perfect dose of bohemian, and fit for a lifestyle inspired by travel. From dresses to tops and the occasional bag and skirt, it’s one of those brands that has it all without overly trying. This dress (now on sale 25% off!) has been one of my ultimate summertime go to’s, wearing it often to the beach, in Newport, and on many hot, sunny days. Safe to say this isn’t my usual #OOTD here in London, but I definitely can’t wait to bring it back out once I get to Spain.
Chances are, if you’re heading off on Holiday or looking for a few warm weather staples, you’ll also need a functional beach bag and versatile sandals. Lately, I have been on a major neutral kick, scooping up these woven Carrie Forbes Sandals for my trip to the Carribean. If shopping in store is more your thing, try finding these sandals at Jenny Kayne or if you’re an online shopper like me, you can find them here . For those of you on a budget wanting for this same woven look, I found an almost identical pair, under $90!! I prefer these to my other summer sandals because they’re super easy to slid off and on and the neutral woven texture goes with just about anything— a great characteristic when you’re limited on shoe capacity during travel!
Having lived at the beach for over 3 years, I’ve realized a lot of today’s beach bags, although cute, are quite impractical. Coming from the girl who owns 4 different ones herself, there’s no beach bag I use more than this circle style with an extra long strap. By the time you load up with sunscreen, a beach towel, your cover up, and a summertime book, things start to get quite heavy and that’s before the optional bottle of rosé! Unless you’re looking for an impromptu arm workout, I suggest also investing in a beach bag with a strap. I purchased this one at Skinny Dip in Charleston but you can find it here online here or shop these similar options: 1 | 2 | 3
What’s next on your summer agenda? In just a few days I’ll be wearing this exact look in Spain! For more from MISA don’t miss my roundup below and be sure to check out this Misa Two Piece set & these Misa tassel earrings from former posts!
