My All-Time Favorite Dress + Two Beauty Favorites

is the fairest of them all. It’s comfortable, versatile, and figure-flattering, and I swear I get more compliments when I wear this dress than any other piece of clothing in my wardrobe. It was absolutely worth every penny, and I will absolutely be purchasing more Gal Meets Glam Collection dresses in the very near future – especially since there are GMG dresses

So you’re probably wondering what makes this line of dresses so special? Most importantly, the dresses are impeccably designs to be timelessly elegant and figure-flattering, but they also have the most amazing details.

This floral dress

has a gorgeous linen floral fabric that hangs beautifully, feels extremely comfortable, and is versatile enough to wear to a variety of events. The stress also has pockets (AMEN!) and the cutest little bow tie in the back. It sounds simple, but it’s really harder than it looks to find a dress that’s made with great-quality fabric, fits like a dream, and has functional features. You can tell that Julia Engel put a LOT of thought into each and every design!

So far, I’ve worn this dress to graduations, work events, date nights (it’s husband-approved!), family dinners, and on our trip to Hawaii. Every single time I’ve paired it with simple accessories because the dress itself is beautiful enough to stand on its own. I love pairing it with this

Two other things that I’m 100% obsessed with are the lipstick and eyeshadow I’m wearing in today’s post. I’ve been trying a

of new makeup lately, and these two products have really stood out among the crowd. This

rosy-pink sheer lipstick

(I’m wearing the color Rose) has just just the amount of color and shimmer to wake up your complexion without looking too unnatural. It has enough moisture to feel good on your lips, but it isn’t so glossy that it leaves your lips feeling sticky.

It was one of two colors I brought with me on my three-week trip to Hawaii and Alaska, and I loved it with each and every outfit.It’s honestly just a great everyday lip color that doesn’t require too much effort or fussing.   Plus, I love that it’s made with

100% non-toxic ingredients

! I’ve had this lipstick for nearly six months now, and I am on the verge of needing a new tube. As someone who owns

lipsticks, that shows you how much I use this particular shade.

Oh, and I have to mention how absolutely beautiful the packaging is. It’s a high-end lipstick, so I expected it to have nice packaging… but OMG it’s so pretty. The gold stripes are so elegant, and it has the perfect weight in your hands. Maybe you have to be a makeup junkie like me to appreciate lipstick packaging haha, but I promise you it’s just as functional as it is elegant. The tube never gets stuck, and the lipstick is cut in just the right shape for easy application. It’s the little things that make a big difference!

. I mean, look at that rose gold mirrored packaging with floral print?! Packaging doesn’t get more beautiful than this palette, folks. Plus, the colors are just PERFECT for everyday wear. A lot of times, you’ll buy a palette and realize you can’t wear 75% of the shades on an everyday basis. You won’t have that problem with this

It’s unbelievably wearable, and I guarantee you that each and every color can be worn day or night, at home or in the office, if you want a casual or a fancy look. Plus it comes with a pretty blush and highlighter to finish your look. Tarte makes some of my favorite eyeshadows, and I find the formula of this palette to be blendable and easy to use. Tarte eyeshadows are always a little powdery in my opinion, but I’m telling you, they are sooooo beautiful on the eyes! Just tap off your brush before applying, and you won’t have any issues.
