As much I love a neutral palette, I love red. It’s strong, it’s powerful and it makes a statement without saying a word. Yes, it is a bold color, but it also does not have to be intimidating.
I’m all about dressing in a head-to-toe red look, but for a bit more subtly, there’s so many great ways to go about it. A pair of red shoes (I’m partial to suede over red leather) with an all black look is killer. Or a red coat to brighten up a more simple outfit. I’ve had my red Vince coat for years and it remains one of my favorite pieces in my closet. I also love pairing a pair of blue or black denim with a red blazer and a red lip.
Another one of my go-to looks in beauty is a red nail and a red lip. I love Sephora #LIPSTORIES in #35 and Essie Gel in Rock the Runway. For the nail polish, I recommend purchasing the Essie Top Coat to prolong the life of your manicure. I do it at home and it lasts a couple of days longer than regular polish.
