Walking out of the Idan Cohen show (which was absolutely BEYOND; recap to come) I was welcomed to quite the surprise, a full on snow storm. It was so beautiful and the cold didn’t even really get to me because I was so enthralled by how beautiful the scene was. This vintage beaded jacket (last seen here) has quickly become one of my favorite closet statement pieces. It was a score via Houston-area vintage boutique Cheeky Vintage and will be something I will cherish for years to come.
My Stuart Weitzman Hijack boots became my BFFs over Fashion Week; so thankful I scotch guarded them – especially due to the snow – but so comfortable, I wore them all around the city and my feet were total happy campers. Definitely a purchase I won’t regret, as these classic boots will have years in my fall-winter wardrobe if taken care of properly. I was all about classic, re-wearable pieces during Fashion Week. For me, it was making somewhat of a statement, but also sticking to my guns and opting for classics over pieces that were outrageous and were just ploys to get photographed. What are some pieces in your wardrobe that you consider true classics?
