Do you know one thing I realized I do pretty terribly on this little blog? Show off my casual looks! Blogging full-time has been an interesting transition for me because I’m either super dressed down for an average workday since no one sees me (i.e. yoga pants), or I’m super dressed up for the blog/press events I’m invited to at night. I just signed on to a coworking office space for a month in Old Town Alexandria just to get myself back into the routine of coming to an office to work on a regular basis. I’m hoping to get back to exploring more fun casual outfit ideas by, you know, leaving my house on a daily basis.
I actually spotted this top from South Moon Under right before I left for Fashion Week in February, and I knew it was going to be my spring/summer jam. I love pairing it with a pair of cropped denim; you really don’t need to overdo it in the accessories department with all of the ruffle details on this top. When it gets warmer out, I’ll pair this top with some denim shorts and a flat pair of sandals.
