Guys. This blizzard that D.C. just had? So. Much. Fun. I’m slightly ok with my new life as a snow bunny.
This is my first big snow in my Arlington apartment, AKA me living in a high rise with hundreds of other 20-somethings and within walking distance to all of my favorite restaurants and pubs. A lot better than the burbs I used to live in! Needless to say, I made some friends and was able to make the one block trek to the nearest watering hole. Hah!
I wore this outfit (plus a huge coat) when I went out and about with my neighbors. And of course I threw on a fresh layer of hair extensions because lets face it, every layer counts when it’s a blizzard. No regrets. The real MVP of the weekend was my new pair of Hunter boots and liners, which I picked up about 15 minutes before it started snowing. Close call, right?
Oh, and I also saw people skiing in Arlington during the blizzard, which was completely hysterical. I love, love love love this town in 2 feet of snow because quite frankly, we just don’t know how to act. Stay classy, D.C.
