Green Lace

Would you believe me if I told you that this little green lace overlay top is under $45? Well, believe it!
I snagged this little top a few months ago on a chance visit to an online retailer I never find myself shopping. To be perfectly honest, I don’t really shop at the lower-priced retailers that are trend machines, i.e. ASOS, H&M, Forever 21… I will say one exception to the group is Zara (for the others mentioned, I find the quality and fit to be very hit or miss, and it’s usually a miss for me!).
But I digress… I had seen this blouse and lately have been loving jewel tones so I took a chance and ordered it.
I have to say it’s quickly become one of my favorite tops. Paired with white jeans or dressier wide-legged pants, perhaps even tucked into a midi-skirt, this lace green top is really a classic. Plus it has a built in tank (huge proponent of this!) which makes it that much easier to throw on and go. And built-in tanks just make life so much easier, agreed?
This lace top also comes in a dress version here.
Speaking of jewel tones, these blue suede pumps (last seen here and here) have quickly become a closet staple since receiving them for my birthday back in December. The height is perfect for all-day, everyday wear and I receive so many compliments on the color!
I truly feel like, at least for my wardrobe, blue functions as a sort of neutral. I wear it all the time and can pair these heels with almost anything. Heads up, these heels plus the pink version are currently on sale plus an extra 30% off, simply use code: TIMETOSHOP at checkout.
On a separate note, I got back from Dallas yesterday afternoon, definitely tired but also invigorated from the gals I met and the tidbits I learned from #RStheCon (the RewardStyle annual conference). This was my first time attending and it was so great to meet so many fellow bloggers whom I’ve read for years or followed along via Instagram, in-person.
I’ll be bringing you some of my outfits from the conference in the coming posts, and implementing new items on the blog as well! Let me know if you have any comments or suggestions that you’d like to see on Adored by Alex in the comments! xx
