This weekend was certainly one for the books, my friends. I hopped on a bus to Philly to visit my friend Suzie, and we had the ultimate girly weekend. Brunch? Check. Wine night? Check. Shopping? Manis? A lot of carbs? Check check and check. I’m a little bit bummed to get back to reality and, you know, get back to cooking and not eating the best food in Philly.
It was also ridiculously nice outside this weekend, so I figured I’d take a new spring piece for a spin. I ordered this gingham Madewell dress, and when I tried it on at first, I didn’t quite love it on its own. However, after throwing on a denim jacket and a bright bag, I realized that this was an awesome layering piece.
