Well, the weekend sure flew by! Time for a reset and fresh start this Monday. It’s my last week in the office before we head off on family vacation to Santa Barbara, and I can’t wait! This darling floral maxi slipdress will be perfect for our trip and was equally as perfect for our trip last month to Healdsburg. Not only is it comfy, but it has pockets… and best part, it’s $49!

After wine tasting on our first day in Healdsburg, we headed back to our adorable hotel, Two Thirty-Five Suites (full review coming this week!), relaxed a bit with some wine and then got ready for a dinner out in the historic town. The summer has been unseasonably warm in Northern California, so I picked this adorable maxi dress to stay cool but keep my legs warm at dinner once the sun set and temps dropped.
I don’t tend to naturally gravitate towards wearing tan colors, since I’m #blessed to have a natural tan already (thanks Dad and his Venezuelan roots!), but I loved the bit of color pop in the floral detailing of this dress. We didn’t get a snap, but the back is just as darling, it’s a t-strap back which is unique in a dress, if you ask me! The best part, this floral maxi slipdress has pockets. Which would be perfect for when I opt not to bring along a purse.
One thing I receive a lot of questions about are these strappy sandals. I picked them up last summer and they’ve been a huge wardrobe staple ever since! I love that they stay on my feet and have a little cushioning on the sole (last seen here and here). I wore them pretty extensively throughout our entire honeymoon trip and had no issues. What’s fun about them is they come in tons of fun colors and leather finishes. I wear this pair so much I’m contemplating snatching up a pair of metallic silver ones, too.
