Good morning from Palm Springs, you guys! Can we talk about this casual outfit combo from Express? It has been in the 80s here in the desert, and I feel like we’ve fast-forwarded to summer already! This outfit was the perfect match for hot weather: this smocked tube top comes in a bunch of colors and pairs well with shorts, skirts and even white pants. A denim skirt is a must-have for the warmer months, as well as a cute boater hat to keep the sun off your face. I’m wearing a size XS in the tube top, and a 00 in the skirt (I normally wear 0 so I did have to size down one size!).
One thing I really love about Express is that they are ALL about supporting women (did you know that March is Women’s Month?). I think supporting other females is more important right now than it’s ever been before – too often, I see women making catty remarks on social media or trying to tear each other down. I simply don’t get it! Growing up, my mom taught me that supporting other women or even saying something nice doesn’t do anything to diminish your shine – it only makes the world a better place! We can make a difference in this world, but only if we’re standing together. I’m actually on a trip right now with two of my favorite girl bosses, Jessica and Jasmine. They have always been so supportive of me and my career, and taught me that it is possible to be in the blogging industry and have real, true friendships.
