Cowl Neck Cozy

Cowl Neck Cozy by Kathrine Eldridge, Wardrobe Stylist
Fall is finally here temperature-wise so I thought it was time to get cowl neck cozy with this sweater from Pink Blush. Cowl neck sweaters are my favorite style of sweater because the neckline is so flattering.

My Cozy Fall/Winter Uniform

This combo of a sweater, skinny jeans, and boots is my casual uniform for fall and winter. It easy to put together and can be super stylish if you have chic accessories.
The cowl neck sweater is the most flattering of all sweater styles because it brings the eye down. I like that it doesn’t choke my neck because I get hot easily. (Menopause is coming for me.) If you have a longer sweater like I have here, skinny jeans is the way to go. If you have a crop sweater, I would opt for bootcut or flared jeans. The key to polishing the look up is by having a great pair of boots and a chic bag.

Fall Season Plans

Now that my trip to Sonoma, California is over, it’s time to chill for bit until my hubby and I head to NYC for a long weekend in November. There are a lot of activities going on with both my sons. Both of them auditioned for ILMEA (Illinois Music Education Association) for their respective age groups and both made it. (Doing the happy Mom dance!) Each will get to perform in concerts with other children in their district. It brings me joy to see them love music just as much as I do.
I am still waiting to hear if I made the finals for the flute competition I entered. I should know in the next couple of days. Regardless of the outcome, I am happy with the recording I put together and all the growth that came from the experience. Setting my sights on another competition for February.
Any big plans this fall season in your life? Would love to hear about it. Happy Friday! XO
