Welp, my friends: I regret to inform you that fall might be over, and that winter has kicked off a bit early this year. But don’t worry, there are some amazing colorful sweaters to liven up your winter season!
I’m not going to lie: winter is my least favorite season to get dressed for. I love bold colors and prints, so I always thrive in the summertime. However, every time I shop for new winter pieces in-store, I come across a sea of neutrals. Heck, even when I cleaned out my own closet a few months ago, I found a very boring pile of tan, cream, and beige sweaters. Which are fine, but they start to get old after a while.
Want to inject some life into your winter wardrobe? Today, I’m sharing some of my favorite colorful sweaters (that won’t break the bank!)

The Best Colorful Sweaters to Wear this Winter
I picked up this sweater from Abercrombie back in the summer, and it’s been in heavy rotation ever since. I love pairing it with midi skirts in particular: a chunky sweater + a midi skirt is the perfect combo, IMO (and one I’ve been rocking for a while!) It’s easy, polished, and something you can wear to work, happy hour, on the weekend…you name it!
I’ve had my eye on this skirt for a while, as well. I tried to order it back in the spring, but I ordered it a size too small, and I was immediately turned off by it. However, I kept seeing it everywhere, so I decided to give it another go. I adore this skirt now that I ordered the proper size — I’m in between a size 4/6, and I had to go with a size six for this one! Also, I’m also 100% wearing my favorite pair of Spanx underneath this, just FYI!
A bold, colorful sweater will also look amazing with jeans and leggings this winter, and can inject some new life into your wardrobe. See more of my bold sweater picks below!
