ICYMI: Walmart has been nailing it in the fashion department lately.
From the relaunch of the iconic Scoop NYC line to their incredible everyday collections, I’ve been really impressed with how on-trend and high-quality their pieces are. It’s incredible when I’m out and about, and someone compliments me on my outfit, and I can say, "thanks, it’s from Walmart!"
Now that November is almost over, it’s the perfect time to stock up on some cold weather essentials. I don’t know about you, but since winter tends to drag on, I like to stock up on cozy sweaters, and fun outwear since I’m going to be living in those pieces from now until April!
Here are some of my favorite cold weather essentials from Walmart this season.
Cold Weather Essentials #1: The Leopard Print Sweater Dress
Is there anything more cozy than a sweater dress? I think not!
I love a good sweater dress because it’s super versatile. You can wear it to work, wear it on the weekend, rock it on date night…the possibilities are truly endless! When I spotted this $35 sweater dress, I instantly fell in love. It’s super comfy, it isn’t itchy, and the length is perfect. Plus, the fit is super flattering: it’s the ideal length for those of us who have long legs, and it’s incredibly flattering.
Cold Weather Essentials #2: The Cold Weather Party Look — Waffle Sweater & Metallic Midi Skirt
I have to say: I’m very picky about my sweaters. However, I’m very impressed with the quality of this Scoop Waffle Knit Turtleneck Sweater, considering it’s only $33. It was super cozy, wasn’t itchy, and was the perfect layer of warmth for a chilly night out on the town. It comes in 4 colors and would be the perfect addition to your winter wardrobe this year.
And, you guys: this metallic skirt? I cannot get over how stunning it is. I got so many compliments while wearing this outfit, and it’s the perfect outfit for a work holiday party or even an excellent option for Christmas Eve church service. It’s more on the conservative side, yet it will definitely turn heads!
Cold Weather Essentials #3: The Vegan Fur Leopard Coat
You guys: I love a good winter coat. Most people that see you on the street will see you in your outerwear. I was kind of shocked when I moved back to D.C. after college because when I stepped outside in the winter, I just saw an endless sea of black puffer coats. Yawn. Make a good first impression and switch things up in the outerwear department this year!
I was immediately drawn to this faux fur leopard coat when I saw it. It looks (and feels!) way more expensive than it really is, and it can elevate a simple jeans and t-shirt ensemble (or, it would be the perfect layer for your holiday party OOTDs!)
