Some might call it the crisp white shirt and denim uniform. It’s one of those looks that you can throw on in a pinch and know it’ll look good. Sometimes wrap tops don’t work well for my bust line, but I simply sized up in this J.Crew wrap top and it works well for me.

I’m usually not one to invest in super expensive denim. I tend to pick up my jeans from places like J.Crew Factory. However, I had heard tons of positives on Mother Brand denim and came across this high-waisted cropped pair during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.
At first I was skeptical because of the price, but they’ve quickly become one of my favorite pairs of denim. They’re easy to wear, hold their shape and have enough stretch, but don’t stretch out. I think I’ll keep my eye out for a dark wash pair on sale come the holidays!
