The older and wiser I’ve grown, the more I love celebrating Thanksgiving. Not only is the food some of my favorite, but the time spent with friends and family is not to be missed. We’re a week out from the holiday, so I wanted to share an easy and casual Thanksgiving Day outfit idea that you could totally replicate yourself!

It’s been downright cold here in Texas, so I’ll be playing the layering game with my holiday outfits. I’ve had this Alpaca cape for a few years now and I absolutely love how cozy it is. Not only is it extremely wearable, but it’s so timeless! I know I’ll continue to wear it for years on end.
Because eating is quite the event on Thanksgiving, I like to wear looser pieces of clothing to stay comfy and hide the ‘food baby’, haha! Paired with my cape, I do loose fitting long-sleeve tees like this adorable striped monogram long-sleeve t-shirt. It’s under $45 and would make for such a great holiday gift for a bestie or a sister.
I received these waterproof, suede booties earlier this season and love them. They’re perfect for all sorts of weather and ultra comfy. I’ve worn them for hours on end without issue. They come in three different colors and are absolutely worth the price tag.
Because just one casual Thanksgiving Day outfit idea isn’t enough, I’ve teamed up with a few other fellow bloggers to share our ideas together today on our blogs. Be sure to mouse on over to their sites and check out what their idea of a casual Thanksgiving Day outfit idea looks like. Hopefully we’ve given y’all plenty of ideas so you know what you’ll be wearing next week for the holiday!
