Trocadéro, what a stunning site to view the Eiffel Tower. I had never been on the North-West side of the tower before and after seeing some beautiful pictures on Pinterest this place went straight to my must-visit list. We had set the alarm very early in the morning in the hope that it would be less crowded when we got there, but apparently a few hundred of other Paris visitors thought the same thing.. Luckily the square is quite on the large side and the mass tourist busses hadn't been floating in yet, so we managed to took a few photos during the oh so perfect morning light, yay!
We had a long afternoon (of shopping) ahead of us so I chose to wear something comfortable and easy; my to go flip-on pointy flats, wool suits pants and a matching oversized blazer. After all, you don't want to struggle with four layers of clothes and a million buttons and zippers when you're in a 80 square centimetre fitting room.
