I’m not going to lie, I’ve never, ever been to a pumpkin patch until this past weekend. Seriously. My mom and I just aren’t outdoorsy people. I know pumpkin picking is one of the most #basic fall activities out there, but quite frankly, it looked like a blast and I knew I had to try it.
My blogger friend Kristyn and I headed 30 miles outside of Washington, D.C. to a place called Butler’s Orchard. I had no idea what to expect, but I was incredibly surprised at how much you can do at Butler’s Orchard. Not only is there a pumpkin patch, but there’s also a huge festival and the most amazing market where you can buy local produce, cheese crafted in Maryland, apple/peach/pumpkin butter, and pretty much any fall decor item you could dream of. Guys, I think I found my new fall tradition.
I decided to rock my new poncho from Old Navy to the orchard to keep me warm and cozy. I love throwing a poncho over a t-shirt and jeans; its a super polished way to stay warm! Side note, Old Navy has been killing it lately with their new arrivals. It’s also crazy to think that I’ve been wearing this brand ever since I was in the third grade. It’s amazing when you can grow up with a brand!
