Marrakech day 1, whites and ethnic prints!

Hi guys, happy Monday! It's been a few days already since we returned from Marrakech and I miss it so much! As I mentioned earlier it was our first time in Morocco and I really had no idea what to expect.. Some of my friends told me that they loved it and some don't, but we had the most amazing time there and I would definitely go back in a heartbeat. We did encounter some annoying people on the streets from time to time but we managed to shake them off. I guess it's just part of the experience!
We stayed in a beautiful riad in the Medina, it kind of felt like a hidden oasis between the chaos of the old city. I'll write more of that later! We stayed 3,5 days in Marrakech which clearly wasn't enough time as there were so many things to do and to discover. I made this whole 'to-do' list but we only managed to cross off half of it. Rug shopping was one of the things that was high on my list and guess what guys? I am now a proud owner of a dreamy hand woven Beni Ourrain rug that I've wanted for such a long time. All thanks to the help of Nayl (a friend of us who lives there), who got it for us for a very good local price, yay!
So here's what I wore on our first evening in Marrakech. We went out for dinner somewhere near or riad, which had a beautiful rooftop terrace where we could see the sunset over the Atlas Mountains. This also, was an amazing experience that will be in my memory forever!
P.S, I was lacking quite some sleep hence the panda eyes, excuse moi!
