After such a fun weekend in Denver (I was visiting the cowboy to celebrate our one year anniversary!) I am having one of those completely-exhausted-can-I-go-back-to-bed-where-even-am-I Monday mornings. I’m not the only one, right? As daunting as it can be to wade through those, at least it is the sign of a wonderful weekend! And to get my mind off of all the catchup still ahead, I’m taking us back to one of my favorite Lilly Pulitzer looks from my trip to Palm Beach a couple of weeks ago!
One reason why I’ve loved Lilly Pulitzer for so long is for the classic silhouettes they continually create. Take this embroidered tunic, for example. This is one piece that is absolutely timeless… and not to mention, beautifully detailed! The embroidery is stunning! Want to know a fun fact about this top? I’m also head over heels for this mini skort! This is another piece that withstands and outlasts trends. The fit is so flattering, and not to mention comfortable! I will definitely be mixing and matching these with cute tops all of spring and summer. (How darling would it look with a white off the shoulder top?)
All together, these two pieces create the perfect resort look… one that’s picture perfect but also functional, comfortable and low maintenance through and through. It has me dreaming of afternoons spent seaside instead of at my desk today… a girl can dream! :)
