Athleisure: Faux Suede Jacket + Recycled Poly Jogger Pants
How much have we all been wearing athleisure wear over the last year, almost year and a half, since the pandemic started? I think everyone's answer, including mine, is "on repeat!" I honestly have enjoyed the flexibility of working from home, including the ability to go for a run or walk during my lunch break and the ability to style more comfortable athleisure outfits during the work week. My company recently announced that our return to office date is delayed again, now January 2022, so my jogger pants are not going anywhere anytime soon. Today I want to share a transitional athleisure wear outfit with you that includes my new faux suede jacket (shared with you last week in this post) along with a couple of pieces from one of my favorite athletic brands that are made from from recycled content. This is not a sponsored post, I just think that efforts to recycle plastic and save the planet are awesome and worth talking about. These jogger pants are made from recycled polyester, meaning diverting post-consumer plastic bottles from a landfill and turning them into cool, breathable fabric. These joggers are incredibly comfortable, have been worn and washed a few times, and so far have held up great. There are four colors currently available in this style (I am wearing a size 2), plus a couple of additional prints and textures that I have linked below. This flattering crop tank is also made from recycled nylon and available in five different colors (I own four already and am wearing a size small). How great is that? These three pieces styled together, along with a pair of clean white sneakers and a simple wallet-on-chain create a chic casual look that is perfect for cooler summer evenings and upcoming fall days. Please keep reading for more photos, outfit links, and more of my picks for jogger pants and jackets that I think could look very stylish paired together now and straight into the fall season.
