All black everything. A go to combination all winter long, this outfit is one of my favorite dressed up casual looks. You may be a little distracted by my hair because it was all over my face for the majority of these pictures. These four were the only decent ones! While brainstorming post titles for today’s post, all I could think of was "hey, wind" or "trying to take pictures in the wind". Ironically enough, these pictures were taken on the same day, one street over from Monday’s post pictures and the wind was completely fine. But, I digress. The point of today's post is about one of my favorite trends: all black everything. Well, except for my OTK boots

ALL BLACK EVERYTHING
Neutrals are a huge part of my everyday wardrobe. And black is high on my list for winter neutrals. I have always found the all black combination to be not only slimming but chic as well. As much as I love an entirely all black look, I do like to add some contrast to give the outfit some pop and make it more interesting. Over the knee boots are a great option for this all black winter look and I love the contrast the grey boots provides. I bought these boots last year and have been wearing them more this winter than last! You can see how I wore them with an olive green sweater here and with a hot pink sweater here. They are a great neutral color and I love the chunkier heel. I continued the grey/silver theme with other accessories with my favorite crossbody Chanel bag, silver mirrored sunglasses and go-to silver hoop earrings. A pretty simple winter look that brings together a few of my favorite winter pieces.
IS IT REALLY FEBRUARY?
Happy February! How crazy to think that the first month of 2018 is already in the books. It’s no secret that I’m counting down the days until spring. Did you catch yesterday’s post about building your spring wardrobe with 15 closet staples? I’m hoping this is one of my last winter outfits I will be sharing this season. I am definitely ready to look forward to spring fashion — now the weather just needs to catch up! I hope you all have a great weekend! Any plans for the Super Bowl? If you are looking for an easy and healthy recipe, I shared this Buffalo Cauliflower on Tuesday that is perfect for game day! Thanks for reading and see you back here on Monday, friends!
