I think I finally figured out why I didn’t survive in New York City. And the reason why, my friends, is my lifelong desire to avoid all-black ensembles. I get it, black is ‘chic’ and all, but bright colors and bold prints have always been my jam. I most likely blinded every New Yorker I came in contact with with how loud my ensembles were. Not sorry.
I was headed out to an event where all the girls were required to wear LBDs and I realized. I don’t have a go-to LBD. Madness, really. This Topshop Drape Front Dress solved my problem real quick. I’ve worn in dressed down with sandals, dressed up with heels, and its really been on repeat these last few weeks. I really love brunching in this number as well because it is food baby friendly. This dress also comes in other colors too, which I may or may not snatch up. If you like something, buy it in every color, right?
