Tis the season! Are you starting to get overwhelmed with all of the holiday events popping up on your calendar? Work parties, to Ugly Sweater shindigs, to December weddings? Yup, a lot is going on right now — but I love it all!
I’m headed to a wedding this weekend in New Orleans, and I was informed that the bride and groom have a pretty laid back group of friends. Even though I still wanted to look fabulous, I knew showing up in a maxi dress or a gown was not going to be a fit for a wedding in this lively town.
Enter: this green velvet jumpsuit. I spotted it when I was shopping in Center City, and I immediately fell in love. It’s super comfortable but has a lot of fantastic cut-out details that are sure to wow anyone at your next party or wedding. I also already own a ton of holiday dresses, so it was nice to switch things up and opt for a jumpsuit this time.

Sadly I’ll likely have to switch to flats at the actual wedding because my knee is still messed up and I can’t walk on heels for too long, but since I’m long-legged enough (I’m 5’7″), the pants don’t drag on the floor.
