Earlier this I showed you what I would wear for NYE if it wasn’t 2020. Here’s what I’m actually wearing for New Year’s Eve tonight. We are ordering pizza and watching the ball drop from the couch, so I’m keeping it casual and fun.
tee // my favorite leggings // oversized black sweatshirt // glitter sneakers // Kendra Scott Davie hoops c/o // Lele Sadoughi confetti headband
While this NYE look has basically also been my WFH uniform, I amped it up some with a shiny headband and glitter shoes. I also added my new favorite Kendra Scott lavender opal earrings. Because if you don’t wear glitter, sparkle, or shine, did you really celebrate NYE??!
Y’all, I’m so happy to see 2020 on it’s way out the door!!! It’s been the craziest year. We’ve experienced some of our lowest lows this year, with my dad fighting for his life against COVID-19 and me losing my job during the pandemic. But those same lows led to some of our highest highs–my dad is on the path to recovery from COVID-19 and I accepted a new job that I love.
Life is COMPLETELY different than this time last year. I would never have imagined the events of this year. N E V E R E V E R. But as I sit here writing this post and awaiting 2021, I’m optimistic and full of hope. I truly wish each and every one of you all the best in the New Year. May your hopes and dreams become reality, and may we see the light at the end of the tunnel with this pandemic. Here’s to 2021–CHEERS!
