Transitional Style: Plaid Blazer + Distressed Straight Leg Jeans

One outfit combination that I never get tired of is a blazer and jeans. If you have been following me for a while you already know this fact, and you have seen this blazer styled a number of ways here on the blog. This Veronica Beard plaid blazer is one of the more frequently worn pieces in my closet, but I never get tired of it because it is a high quality item and there are so many ways to style new looks each season. Seattle has teased us with a few sunny and warm-ish days recently that made me start to think about styling looks for the winter to spring transition, and of course a blazer and jeans was the first style idea that came to mind. In today's look, I styled this plaid blazer with on-trend distressed straight leg jeans instead of my usual skinnies, a long sleeve tee, classic pumps, and a quilted crossbody bag. Please continue reading to see more photos, outfit links, and more of my picks for blazers and straight leg jeans that I think would look fantastic styled together this season and beyond.
