Simple Sundresses for Spring

Y’all know I love a good sundress. Bonus points if it comes in shades of blue & white! I stumbled into J. Crew the other day in search of dress shirts for Patrick and ended up leaving with two new dresses for me too. (Should we be surprised!?) I mean, in a way … maybe I kind of am actually.

I haven’t shopped at J. Crew in AGES. Nothing against the brand, but their tailored silhouettes and preppy styles just haven’t felt very “me” in recent years. I was so surprised to see their selection of breezy beautiful spring sundresses – almost nothing like what I would have expected from the retailer based on season’s past.

Are you a J. Crew regular?! I’m thinking after this recent visit, I’m about to be again! They’ve also got me tempted with their 40% off dress promotion right now too. Speaking of which, I’m styling and sharing this sweet smocked J.Crew finding and sharing a few favorites from their spring collection below!

About the Look:

This pretty paisley smocked stunner comes in several different prints and is 40% off with the code SHOPNOW. After having a baby in the fall, I honestly expected the small to be a bit snug so I would say it is a bit generous in size. If you’re in between sizes, I would try sizing down.

This darling dress is casual enough to don for any occasion – from the park with the kids to dinner al fresco out on a Saturday night. I paired it with Swedish Hasbeens sandals and a woven picnic style purse by Patricia Nash.

Who else is starting to feel a sense of normalcy in their lives again thanks to the vaccines?! It feels almost surreal to have special occasions to dress up for again. So very thankful!
