I’m back with my final Nisolo sandal review! In case you missed it – I’ve reviewed the Nisolo Isla Slide and the Go-To Flatform sandal already. This time around I’m reviewing the Nisolo Huarache Sandal and styling an outfit that will easily take you from summer to fall!
Don’t miss the Nisolo Sale happening right now!

Nisolo Huarache Sandal Review
I chose these Huarache sandals in Almond to review because I thought it would be a nice summer to fall shoe. It’s technically a closed-toe shoe which I feel is more appropriate for the fall but it’s still got great ventilation. I also think that you can pair the Huarache Sandal with socks when the weather gets chillier and they will still look cute!
Since it’s still pretty warm here (summer’s not over yet!) I wore them sans socks but paired them with a fall floral dress to give the outfit a fall vibe.

Nisolo Huarache Sandal Size and Fit
I ordered a size 9 in my previous Nisolo sandals so I decided to go with a size 9 in the Huarache sandal as well. However, I wish I had taken the 8.5. These are slightly too long and too wide for my narrow feet. With my previous Nisolo sandals (the Isla Slide and Go-To Flatform Sandal) I didn’t feel like I could have sized down because the footbed would have been too short for my feet. With the Huarache sandals, I definitely have extra space length-wise and could have sized down. Keep in mind that my feet are really narrow – so if I had “normal” or wide feet that might have been enough to keep these shoes on my feet a little better.
The Huarache Sandals are made from a nice soft leather. I have a pair of huarache sandals from another brand and that leather is definitely much stiffer and not as comfortable. I felt like I could wear the Nisolo Huaraches right out of the box with no break in needed! But because they are a soft, flexible leather I believe they will loosen up even more over time – which is another reason I should have sized down.
A Summer to Fall Outfit
Since it’s still summer, I paired these breathable Nisolo Haurache Sandals with this Sézane dress in a beautiful fall floral print. I also added my Sézane Raffia bag for more summer vibes. It was probably around 75 degrees on this day in California and I still felt really comfortable – even with the long sleeves. The sleeves are actually a sheer viscose fabric so they don’t feel too heavy.

To transition this look to fall I’ll simply add a suede or leather jacket and switch out my raffia bag to a leather bag! The addition of a jacket really changes the vibe of this look and also provides that extra warmth needed on chilly fall days. I would add tights to this outfit when it gets even chillier. And if you are feeling fun I think a pair of socks with these sandals would look cute as well!
