With the start of each year, I like to get all of my ducks in a row and the number one way I feel ready to embrace a new year is to CLEAN. And I mean a deep clean. Cleaning even the walls and cleaning inside appliances like the garbage disposal, washer and dryer, oven and dishwasher.

All ten of the products above are also everyday cleaning products I use. However, they ALL come out on my deep cleaning days. Areas that can get overlooked on a daily basis that are great to tackle on deep cleaning days are your stainless kitchen appliances and sink. Not only cleaning them, but showing them some love too with stainless steel wipes and cleanser-both polish and leave your appliances and sink looking brand new.
If the thought of getting out every scuff on your walls, doors and floorboards overwhelms you, make sure you’re using Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. This is one of those products I use so frequently that I’m very grateful to my Walmart+ membership so I can order it as often as needed (which is often!) with ease and convenience.
Another product that I use a couple of times a week thanks to my dogs’ hair floating around constantly is the Swiffer Duster. It doesn’t just work for picking up dust, it always grabs onto dog hair on surfaces.
I always tell my pups they’re lucky they’re so darn cute, because they’re serious shedders. However, because I do these deep cleanings at the beginning of the year and then sporadically throughout, my everyday cleaning is more surface and quicker.
