OK, let’s be up front–this is totally a Galentine’s Day outfit because if you’re partners are anything like Chauncey, they’re not going to. . .um. . .appreciate it the way your friends will.haha While I like to dress up more to Chauncey’s liking for Valentine’s Day, I dress for ME on Galentine’s Day. This red and pink Galentine’s Day outfit is so fashion-forward and fun.

Galentine’s Day is a great time to try need trends and wear something over the top. While statement sleeves were coming back in style last fall, they’re now showing up in more exaggerated silhouettes reminiscent of the 80’s. While it’s not a trend I would wear everyday, it’s one that’s fun to try-out for special occasions.

For an updated take, I paired this puff sleeve top with faux leather leggings. Y’all, these Spanx faux leather leggings under $50 are so good, and a great alternative to the more expensive Spanx ones. I always feel so confident when I wear them. If you need an outfit with an instant confidence boost, definitely grab these leggings.

I want to call out my white quilted bag with top handle. This is the cutest bag at $35. It’s a great alternative to more expensive quilted bags. I’m just as happy with it as I am with the Tory Birch Kira line–I actually have 3 of these bags in different colors.
