Frozen Peach Spritz with Tajin Spice

The other day I had a hankering for peaches and when I get a craving for a particular fruit the first thing that comes to mind is how to incorporate it into a cocktail 😏  I don’t make frozen drinks often and it’s been HOT lately, so I thought up this Frozen Peach Spritz with Tajin Spice. You can certainly make this without the spice, especially since it only added on the rim and on the peach garnish, but I do think it’s a perfect addition and even enhances the peach flavors!

Frozen Peach Spritz with Tajin Spice

What’s great about this recipe is that I used frozen peaches, which something I usually have in my freezer. As much as I LOVE making cocktails with fresh fruit, it’s sometimes more convenient to use frozen fruit that you don’t have to worry about going on bad on you too quickly and that is more readily available in your kitchen already. Frozen fruit is especially great to use when making a frozen drink as it blends nicely with ice and keeps your drink that much cooler for longer.

Frozen Peach Spritz with Tajin Spice


Servings: 1

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup frozen peaches
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1 oz peach liquor
  • 5 oz rose

Directions:

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until slushy consistency. Pour into cocktail glass with a Tajin dipper rim. Finish by garnishing with a Tajin dipped peach.

Note: I just love these cocktail glasses, so I wanted to use them shooting this drink, but a white wine wineglass would work even better with this cocktail.
