Today I’m sharing my Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa review. I stayed there last week and had such a lovely time. Only a 45 minute drive from Miami, however, this resort feels oceans away because of the difference in vibes. Unlike Miami’s fast-paced feel, as soon as you enter the lobby of this resort you feel welcomed and calm.
My favorite part of the lobby was this beautiful fixture. The entire lobby feels elevated, but not too formal-a perfect balance for an ocean-front resort.
This was the view walking into my room. A straight eye-line to the beautiful waters of Harbor Beach. As always at Marriott stays, the bed and pillows were soft clouds-I think Marriott has the comfiest bed situation out there.

After soaking in the view from my balcony, I slipped into my swimsuit and headed to Sea Level, the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort‘s beach-front restaurant, for lunch and drinks. I ordered the Florida Citrus Paloma and it was so delicious!
If the ocean and gorgeous pool wasn’t enough to keep you relaxed and having fun, just about everywhere you turn while walking the massive courtyard is somewhere to play a game (corn hole, ping pong) or sit in a lounge area with a cocktail in hand. There is also a tennis and basketball court on the resort grounds too!
Speaking of the pool, look at how pretty! My favorite thing about this space was the countless palm trees, it gave the pool area such a cool atmosphere.
Dinner at 3030 Ocean Restaurant was such a treat. For appetizers we tried the rosemary focaccia, charcuterie board and our favorite, the seafood chowder. For our entrees we enjoyed the blackened grouper and filet mignon, both were amazing. I stuck with wine while my husband drank the 3030 fresh cocktail that he really enjoyed. Actually, we tried a handful of different cocktails during our stay and they all tasted hand-crafted and never too sweet or tart, all perfectly balanced.

After dinner, we took a walk around the courtyard and soaked in the fresh air, as you can see below…do you think I was enjoying the ocean breeze?
The Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa also has live music every night, so while hanging at the 3030 bar, in the restaurant’s lounge or in the resort’s lobby, you’re able to enjoy the acoustic tunes. It was lovely!

Don’t forget to book a treatment in the resort’s peaceful spa! My recommendation is the Tiki Massage.
One morning we had breakfast in bed, looking out at the ocean and another morning we enjoyed breakfast on the courtyard at the resort’s Riva‘s restaurant. I’m not even a big breakfast person and I practically licked my plate clean. We ordered the avocado toast and the SoFlo which is pulled pork shoulder, pico de gallo, maduros and eggs-it was SO good.
My stay at the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa was a perfect relaxing getaway-we never felt like we had to leave the resort for anything. Any delicious meal, drink or snack was a walk away. There is also a Starbucks in the lobby, a juice and smoothie shop that has a healthy snack selection and a convenience shop with lots of goodies too!
That wraps up my Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa Review.
