Hey, friends! Last week totally got away from me as we were migrating out of quarantine (what a relief!). I shot blog content for the first time in 3 weeks this past weekend. Holiday content is typically heavy on my blog, but of course, this year is a little different. It’s strange not doing any holiday parties or events. Instead, we’re doing lots of Christmas movies and cozy nights at home. I know many of us have changed up our Christmas plans this year, so I wanted to share a casual Christmas outfit.

When cold weather finally rolls in, I’m all about the coziest tops I can find. Not only is this green chunky knit sweater perfect to wear from Christmas celebrations at home, but it’s also so thick and warm. To make it a little more festive, I took a snowflake hair clip and clipped it to the neckline of my sweater in lieu of a necklace. You could also opt to wear it as a brooch, as it easily fits through the knit of this sweater. It’s different.
While I’m wearing a pair of mom jeans, you could just as easily wear leggings. Comfort is always key. If you’re going to be wrangling gifts and rolling around in the floor, you want to be able to do it without busting a zipper.haha
Since it’s Christmas, of course I have on festive earrings! The recent trend is mismatched earrings. My Santa + Mrs. Claus earrings are so cute, and even though they’re mismatched, they also match in size and color scheme. Pop on a knot headband, and you’re good to go.
I also want to mention my tan Tory Burch Kira crossbody. If you’re still stumped about what to ask Santa to buy for Christmas, I highly recommend this little bag. It’s an awesome size, and easy to carry. Since I’m not really carrying a work bag right now, I’m enjoying the opportunity to wear all the small bags.
