Hey, friends! One of the biggest thrills of shopping is when you’ve had your eye on something for months and you find it on major sale. Exhibit A is this hot pink blazer from Loft. I’d been looking for a hot pink blazer for some time when I stumbled upon this one. It was exactly what I was looking for, but I wasn’t willing to pay full-price for it. So I waited for a deep discount and snapped it up then.

While many people think a blazer is just for the office, I think it’s a great piece to wear casually in place of a jacket. It gives a chic vibe to any outfit, like this bodysuit and jean shorts combo I’m wearing here. This hot pink blazer is great for cooler summer nights, as it’s a lightweight linen blend. Just flip up the cuffs and you’re ready to roll.
To be honest, I’m on the fence about my body in a bodysuit, but they made a great layering piece. I always size up 1-2 sizes in bodysuits, but they still cling. I encourage you to step outside of your comfort zone, like I am here. That’s why I included the last pic.
Now, these are another version of the white shorts I talked about here. They’re just $15, and I love them so much that I bought the light blue, white, and black pairs. I reach for one pair or the other almost every day.
This casual look works for date night or girls night out. Or ditch the blazer and wear the body suit and shorts for a weekend morning running errands.
