I hope you had a wonderful Labor Day weekend! It was a relaxing one around here. Chauncey and I got caught up in cleaning out our garage and dining room/junk room on Friday. After living here for 5 years, the kids finally have a playroom. This has been on my to-do list since we bought our house, so I’m so thankful to have this checked off! We also spent some time in the pool and grabbed sno cones on Monday. With Labor Day weekend behind us now, it’s [un]officially fall. Here’s the #1 piece you need to transition your wardrobe to fall.
jean jacket // eyelet top // Lilly Pulitzer Buttercup scalloped shorts–similar color in stock // clear sandals (similar) // Coach wallet on chain–similar color in stock // Kendra Scott Margot hoops c/o (on sale) // Lilly Pulitzer face masks–pack of 3
MUST-HAVE FOR FALL: DENIM JACKET
I know so many of us are still wearing shorts, but it’s starting to get cooler in the mornings and at night. A denim jacket is the perfect piece to pop on top of your summer outfits to help transition your wardrobe to fall. This one is actually on sale for $30. I think it fits a little smaller, but if you’re not one to button your jackets up (like me), then grab your normal size. You can wear it over your shoulders or actually slip it on.
Mint is one of my favorite colors, and these shorts look great with a white top. It’s a simple outfit, but the colorblocking makes it pop. For a fun pop of color, add a bold mask. Lilly Pulitzer brought out these face masks in their Chilly Lilly fabric. They feel cooler to the touch, are comfortable, fit well, and even have the little piece that lets you shape the nose area. They’re well-worth the price if you’ve had issues finding a comfortable face mask.
I’ll have a fall makeup post up tomorrow. On Monday, I’ll have a post-up that I’ve been sitting on for awhile, that’s way personal, but I’m excited to share it with you.
Why do I stain my underwear?. xoxo.
